SAIBPP100: Class of 2025 Nominations Open

SAIBPP 100 Class of 2025

The South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP) is proud to announce that nominations for the SAIBPP100 Class of 2025 are now officially open. As one of the country’s most prestigious recognitions in the property sector, the SAIBPP100 shines a spotlight on the top one hundred Black professionals whose leadership, innovation, and dedication have helped shape South Africa’s real estate landscape. This annual accolade not only acknowledges established figures but also celebrates the rising talent destined to define the future of the industry.

Celebrating the very best across every facet of property practice, the SAIBPP100 seeks to honour entrepreneurial visionaries who launch and grow transformative ventures, corporate leaders driving large-scale developments, and pioneering women whose contributions continue to break barriers. We also invite nominations for those whose academic research has advanced our collective understanding of property markets, as well as young professionals whose fresh perspectives and boundless energy are already making waves. Student leaders who demonstrate exceptional promise in their studies and activities on campus are likewise encouraged to enter, ensuring that tomorrow’s trailblazers receive the recognition they deserve today.

In addition to the core Top 100 list, our special awards segment elevates individuals and organisations whose impact extends far beyond their day‑to‑day roles. The Lifetime Achievement Award in Property will pay tribute to a career defined by enduring excellence and service. The Corporate Social Responsibility Award recognises those whose initiatives have tangibly uplifted communities through housing solutions, infrastructure programmes, or capacity‑building partnerships. The Champions of Transformation Award highlights change‑makers who foster inclusivity and equity throughout the property value chain. Meanwhile, the Media and Communication Excellence Award celebrates storytelling that has informed, educated, and inspired stakeholders across the sector. Finally, the Property Finance Award salutes financial experts whose strategies and leadership have underpinned sustainable growth and investment.

Nominators may propose any individual—whether within a multinational corporation, a boutique agency, an academic institution, or a grassroots organisation—provided their achievements exemplify the high standards of professionalism and innovation that define the SAIBPP100. The nomination portal offers a straightforward submission form where you can outline a nominee’s accomplishments, impact, and vision for the future. We encourage supporting materials such as project summaries, testimonials, and media excerpts to accompany each entry, helping our selection committee gain a comprehensive view of each candidate’s contributions.

All nominations must be received by 30 April 2025 to be considered for inclusion in this year’s cohort. The official unveiling of the SAIBPP100 Class of 2025 will take place at the SAIBPP Annual Convention on 25–26 June, where honourees will join a distinguished programme of keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. For full details on eligibility criteria, submission guidelines, and award descriptions, please visit the SAIBPP100 webpage and submit your nomination well in advance of the deadline.

By participating in the SAIBPP100 nominations process, you play a vital role in recognising and amplifying the voices and accomplishments of Black property practitioners whose work is instrumental to South Africa’s social and economic progress. We look forward to your nominations and to celebrating a new class of leaders, innovators, and change‑makers who will set the pace for our industry in the years to come.
