SAIBPP Fee Structure 2011

The institute seeks to attract members involved in the property industry across South Africa. These include:

1. Membership Structure

Members are categorised into 3 groups, namely Corporate Membership, Individual membership and Students.


2. Corporate Membership

Corporate membership structure has been classified in two categories based on the value of the portfolio.

Class A: Corporate members with portfolio value of over R1 billion in value under management/investments and including Government departments/State Owned Enterprises fall into class A membership category and have two membership options.

Class B: Companies under R1 billion in value under management/investments. Also includes professionals, developers, valuers, facilities managers, convayencers, brokers, architects, academics, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, land surveyors, researchers and attorneys.

Can register up to 12 members Can register up to 2 members

Class B: Option 2 Smaller than R5 million R 3,000 2
Please Note: Annual fees for first year are prorated as follows:
January, February 100%  
March, April, May 75%  
June, July, August 50%  
September, October 25%  
November, December FREE With full payment of following year fee


3. Individuals/Professionals

Annual membership fee: R500, 00

Benefits:

Discounted rate to conference and functions
Receives all SAIBPP communication and stakeholder updates
Benefit as prioritised recipient of all SAIBPP initiatives with stakeholders
Receives all employment vacancies being posted via SAIBPP
Potential to be included in SAIBPP publication
Opportunity to get more information about the property industry, trends and access to property organisations
Opportunity to network with peers in the property industry
Link with key stakeholders

March, April, May 75%  
June, July, August 50%  
September, October 25%  
November, December FREE With full payment of following year fee


4. Students

Annual membership fee: R170, 00

Benefits:

Discounted rate to conference and functions
Receives all SAIBPP communication and stakeholder updates
Receives all employment vacancies being posted via SAIBPP
Opportunity to get more information about the property industry opportunities, trends and access to property organisations and professionals
Potential to access bursaries and mentorship opportunities

Members will not be allowed to act on any transaction or communication on behalf of SAIBPP nor use the SAIBPP logo to present views or solicit deals. The SAIBPP logo will only be utilized to illustrate membership of the organization. All members will act in accordance to rules and guidelines prescribed by SAIBPP when introducing their membership.

It is with great pride that we launch our first issue of a regular magazine for the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP). Black practitioners in the property industry face many challenges including recognition and access to their skill and potential, access to finance for their service provision businesses and investments, opportunities and business relationships.
